#OpenCreativeHouse

Last Thursday I was invited to give a keynote speech at Open Creative House in Espoo organized by Finnish-Canadian Business Club’s Finn Lyckoberg and Mika Ihamäki. Besides highlighting my career, I was talking about how the Hollywood Foreign Press Association was founded in the 1940’s by a group of international journalists. It did fit to the theme “Let’s shine together” because together we are stronger than as individuals. I also mentioned how the group of Golden Globe voters have grown. There are now 315 voters from 76 countries. Other topics were recent Finnish Golden Globe nominations; Klaus Härö’s The Fencer and Juho Kuosmanen’s Compartment Number 6 as well as a success of Nordic composers, Iceland’s Hildur Guðnadóttir and Sweden’s Ludwig Göransson and of course the importance of international stories at the moment. Thank You for this opportunity!
